Not a bad day at all on the water! Tampa Bay served up solid action with both snook and redfish making an appearance. The morning started off with light winds and moving water—just right for working those mangrove lines and shallow flats. Snook were hitting live bait and soft plastics, especially around structure with good current flow. A few slot-sized reds were also caught cruising the edges, with most of the action coming on cut bait and shrimp. Overall, a steady bite and some quality fish in the mix. Hey folks, it's Captain Andy from Wicked Salty Fishing Charters. I have some exciting news to share with you all about today's fishing trip. Despite some tough weather conditions in Tampa Bay, the redfish bite was good, and the girls absolutely killed it out there! We were able to locate a school of redfish in a shallow flat area, and once we found them, it was game on. I was really impressed with how they handled the tough conditions and were able to adapt and catch some great fish. It just goes to show that a little bit of wind and rain won't stop us from having a great time and catching some fish. Overall, it was a fantastic day on the water with some amazing catches.
